A Good Adaptation With Weak Graphics

This slot machine is a good adaptation of the video games edited by Eidos Interactive. We recognise the same sound effects and musical themes as in the series. There are also a few good artworks of Agent 47. The symbols go well with the dark atmosphere. Knife, gun, syringe, strangling rope, sniper gun, the perfect hitman’s accessories are represented. You’ll also find banknotes, the not-suitable-for-under-18s logo (because of violence) and the hero in different poses. To put it shortly, an adaptation which lives up to the series’ name. On the other hand, everything is quite unrefined: the buttons are ugly, the colours of payment lines clash and the background of this slot machine is bland to look at. Fortunately, these limits do not hurt the game too much, but a bit more effort would have been nice. A shame.

Excellent Animations

Even if the quality of graphics could be better, the atmosphere does not suffer from it since MicroGaming has inserted many animated sequences during the game. Some symbols, when in a winning combination, offer a short animation taken from the video game. We can then see Agent 47 at work: leaving an empty room, picking up money or planning some dirty deed in a church. These animations are definitely a bonus.

Despite its disappointing graphics, the Hitman slot machine is a success. Its atmosphere is excellent, with numerous animated sequences which will introduce you to a cold universe of mystery.
